MS Stadt Radolfzell auf dem Untersee

Information for ship passengers with reduced mobility

We are aware of the issues and difficulties people with reduced mobility face when using public transport. Because of this, we do our best to remove potential obstacles, with constructional measures at the landing stages, transition staircases and on the ships alike.

Never hesitate to tell us if you need any help! We are there for you!

Special features on Upper Lake Constance, Lake Überlingen and Lake Radolfzell

Transport of persons with disabilities:

Severely disabled persons with an official ID card issued in Germany (orange imprint) are eligible for free transportation if in possession of a valid token. The token is issued by the pension office (Versorgungsamt) and comes with an information sheet.

Transport of accompanying persons:

The accompanying person of a severely disabled person is transported free of charge if permanent support is required and confirmed on the ID-card with half-side orange imprint (token is not required). This means that the code B or BN and the corresponding note are not deleted on the ID. Persons with disabilities who hold an official ID with the code B or BN cannot in turn act as accompanying persons and be carried free of charge.

NOTE:

Persons with severe disabilities can ride free of charge on the routes Constance - Überlingen, Constance - Lindau and Radolfzell - Reichenau.
